The most memorable historical spot I visited this week was the Holocaust Museum because it reminded me what the Holocaust must have been like for Daniel, a Jewish boy growing up during the war. He lived but his family did not live. If it was up to me, I would change this part of history where Adolph Hitler eliminated many of the Jewish people. What he did was evil.
I learned that Abraham Lincoln was important in the Civil War. He was president during the war. After the war, he was killed by someone who didn’t like him. Some day I would like to go back to Little Round Top in Gettysburg with my children because I think they might find it interesting.
On our last day of the Freedom Tour we went to the Apollo theatre and I sang Oklahoma in front of an audience but I didn’t think I could do it. I did it and I felt really proud afterwards.

Lidia, It sounds like you had a great time on the Freedom Tour and learned more about history. I would have loved to see you "perform" at the Apollo Theater. It's great that you went. Good job on your post on-line. Mrs. Giggey
